Small Business Bookkeeping
Bookkeeping for a business small enough that accounting software is overkill - Etsy sellers, freelancers, side-hustlers.
Full details
The income page is a month at a time: business name, monthly income goal, then a row per sale or client payment with date, source or client, platform, amount and a paid tick, totalled at the bottom. Tracking by platform matters when your money arrives from three different places.
The expense tracker is date, vendor or description, category, amount, and a tax column you tick as you go - which is the difference between a deduction you claim and one you forget.
The third page covers the two things people lose money on. A mileage log with date, trip and purpose, start and end odometer and miles, totalled. And an invoice tracker with invoice number, client, amount, due date and paid - so unpaid invoices stop being invisible. Plus space for quarterly estimated-tax dates and amounts, and for receipts and records to file.
The summary page is the bottom line: total income, total expenses, net profit. A six-item deduction checklist to jog your memory (home office, supplies and materials, software and subscriptions, platform and payment fees, mileage and shipping, marketing and ads), a box for the amount you are setting aside for taxes, notes for your accountant, and next month's goals.
Five pages including the cover, 179 fill-in form fields, US Letter and A4 both included. Print one set per month, or fill it on screen.
A bookkeeping worksheet, not tax or accounting advice. What you owe depends on your income, your state and your filing status - confirm the numbers with your accountant.
