# Photography Client Contract Template  

**This Photography Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into as of [Date] (the “Effective Date”) by and between:**

## 1. Scope of Services  

The Photographer shall provide the following photography services (the “Services”):

## 2. Fees & Payment

## 3. Client Responsibilities

## 4. Photographer’s Rights & Obligations  

- The Photographer will perform the Services in a professional manner and use commercially reasonable equipment.  
- The Photographer retains the right to refuse any request that is illegal, unethical, or poses a safety risk.  
- The Photographer may use images for self‑promotion (e.g., portfolio, website, social media) unless a separate confidentiality clause is signed.

## 5. Ownership & Licensing  

- **Copyright:** The Photographer retains full copyright ownership of all photographs taken.  
- **License to Client:** Upon full payment, the Photographer grants the Client a **non‑exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license** to use the delivered images for personal or commercial purposes as described in Section 1.  
- **Restrictions:** The Client may not sell, license, or otherwise transfer the images to third parties without the Photographer’s written consent.

## 6. Model Release  

If any recognizable individuals appear in the photographs, the Client shall obtain signed model releases from those individuals. The Photographer may provide a standard release form upon request.

## 7. Confidentiality  

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the course of this Agreement, except as required by law or as necessary to fulfill the Services.

## 8. Limitation of Liability  

- The Photographer’s total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client under this Agreement.  
- The Photographer is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control (e.g., weather, equipment failure, acts of God).

## 9. Image Delivery & Acceptance  

- The Photographer will deliver the final edited images via [method] by the estimated delivery date.  
- The Client shall review the delivered images and notify the Photographer of any defects or missing items within **[Number]** days. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the work.
